Venting with Concentric pipe is just as easy as using regular vent pipe, with just a few exceptions below: Horizontal ( thru the wall venting) 1) Order the Concentric appliance adapter to put on top the heater first ( Part # SC03AD05) and then order your elbows, straight pipe, condensate drain as needed. 2) Order the Horizontal Termination Adapter (Part # SC03HT) to attach to your choice of terminations ( screen termination, 90° elbow termination, termination tee, etc) Vertical ( Thru the roof venting) 1) Order the Concentric appliance adapter to put on top the heater first ( Part # SC03AD05) and then order your elbows, straight pipe, condensate drain, flashing, rain cap and storm collar as needed. 2) Order the Vertical Termination Adapter (Part # SC03VT) to attach to the Rain Cap. ------------------------------------------------------------------ The Concentric Installation manual is located by clicking "Product Information" on the home page or click here: concentric manual Here are a few suggestions for installations : * A Condensate Drain with Condensate hose is needed on horizontal venting over 2-3 feet long. The other end of the condensate hose should be attached to a drain. * A Condensate Drain with Condensate hose is needed on all vertical thru the roof venting. The pipe need to be a minimum of 3 feet above the roof. * The Vertical Support Leg ( Part # SC03VT) is needed to hold the weight of pipe going up thru the roof. * Our Hi-Temp Sealant is required on vertical venting to seal the storm collar. This keeps rain water from running down the outside of the pipe. * The sealant should be used when attaching the Appliance Adapter to the heater . * The elbows are rigid, non adjustable. * This Heat Fab SC© brand of Concentric pipe is not compatible with any other brand.
